  1. Great post Matt. I was always curious as to how you managed this phenomena. You have made it sound so easy. Any struggles you have had are over by the end of the end of the sentence! It seems to me that a big part of you success is natural talent, a very positive attitude and the ability to be unconstrained by barriers. It is very impressive. I look forward to the next chapter.

  2. Thanks for the kind words Carol. I hope this chapter of my life lasts for a good while longer! It’s not been as easy as I make it sound but I do believe if you want something enough, you can make it happen for you.

  3. Matt,

Sounds like you are having a blast! Can;t be easy everyday but must be a lot of fun and so much more fun than filing flight plans and doing the paper work P2 for easyjet or worth even ryanair 🙂

I have been flying for many years and just decided to get a class1 and sign up for BGS…starting the long road but your blog might just keep me focussed so keep posting… Olivier

  4. Hey Matt,
very interesting to read all your stories. I am a hobby pilot from Germany, flying Gliders and also some aircrafts with engines ;-). Actually i am studying but after that, i would like to start an atpl course. Hope to hear from you. My blog: http://www.52grad9minuten.de

    Bye, Tim

  5. Matt,
It’s been na enourmous pleasure reading all your experiences flying over Indonesia. Flying with oceanic winds, turbulence from the mountains – and the always heavy aircraft – which lead us to be very confident in the aircraft for approach speeds and landings. It’s a real challenge. I’m a pilot, struggling to finish my Commercial Licence in Brazil. Congrats for your skills, technique and dedication! Be sure you inspire lots of young pilots!
    God bless you,
    Hugs
