Be careful with your GoPros!

Just thought I’d share with you a photo of what can potentially happen to your GoPro after prolonged use on aircraft/automobiles etc.

Crack on GoPro HD mounting point

As you can see, one of the mounting brackets has snapped. This could be difficult to notice if you keep it attached to one of the standard black mounting options, like the suction cup, as you wouldn’t notice it. I regularly inspect all aspects of the camera mounting when using it and I suggest anyone else using one does likewise.

That crack could also have been caused because of the location I’d been using (underneath the aircraft) where it could have potentially got struck by a stone or something. It did make for some awesome footage though which will be featuring in my next movie project!
