If there’s one thing the local people round here like doing, it’s having a big gathering and a bit of a dance/party. So, following on from the big gathering at Binuang, I found myself, on a day off in Malinau last weekend, watching some amazing local dancing.
As always with these things I’m never quite sure exactly what’s going on, or the reasons behind it, as my Indonesia’s not quite good enough to understand unfortunately. A good reason to keep learning more words I guess!
Either way, everyone seemed to be having a good time and was fun to watch the various acts perform. Certainly made for a more interesting morning than the usual!
